How to prepare a tasty and healthy Açaí bowl
As we say in Brazil, açaí is a “superfruit”.
Its loaded with antioxidants, may improve cholesterol levels, and some believe it can boost your brain functions!
I like to eat mine in the mornings, blended with banana to get a smoothie texture, paired with toasted coconut flakes, strawberries, pistachios and some yummy homemade granola.
Although, açaí have many potential health benefits, watch out for the added sugars that are often found in ready to drink juices and frozen purées.
